The pub atmosphere was lively on the weekend, filled with the kind of energy you'd expect from karaoke nights, and if you joined in, it could be a fun experience. The room was clean and the bathroom featured newer fixtures, which hints at some effort put into updates.
Unfortunately, the noise levels were off the charts, especially from the bar crowd spilling into the parking area. There was also a repulsive drainage smell that permeated the room, combined with some outdated furniture that did not reflect what's pictured online. The limited soundproofing issues made it hard to ignore the late-night activities, and the mattress left much to be desired-thin and uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on springs.

i had a lovely stay at old stagecoach stables. the outdoor seating area for each room was a perfect spot to relax, and the parking was convenient. being very close to the train station was a huge plus too! the staff was super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
